Right At Home of Birmingham Alabama, founded by Beau Green in 2011, was built on a foundation of compassionate care and a clear vision: to pair quality caregivers with families in need. Beau’s leadership was instrumental in expanding the agency’s footprint across Alabama and Tennessee.

In 2013, Bradford Meythaler joined as the agency’s president, bringing a strong background in managerial finance and a deep commitment to providing care. "Witnessing the sacrifices made by previous generations, I believe it’s our turn to give back," Bradford shares. "Right at Home allows us to do just that by caring for disabled adults and seniors in the comfort of their own homes."

The Growing Pains Of Hiring

As Right at Home Birmingham continued to grow, so did the challenges of maintaining their high standards of care across multiple locations. "Our biggest challenge was always fighting the ebb and flow of home care. We were understaffed and constantly scrambling to find caregivers. One day, we’d be printing out applications and cold-calling potential hires; the next, we were filling out satisfaction surveys or helping a caregiver change a tire," says Chief Operating Officer Justin Pendergrass.
