Meet The Team

Rachel Gartner is a military spouse currently living in Pine Mountain, GA with her husband and two children. She earned a M.S in Biomedical Science in 2018 before founding Carework the same year. The greatest part of her job is working with all the incredible people you see on this page! When she's not working, Rachel enjoys camping with her family, being outdoors, and just hanging out with her kids.

Ember began her career in the retail industry at Nordstrom’s corporate headquarters after earning her degree in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Textiles (AMDT) with a minor in Business Administration from Washington State University. As an Army spouse, frequent moves eventually led her to Carework, where she found a meaningful way to blend flexibility with purpose. Outside of work, Ember enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with her family in Hawaii.

Hayley is a military spouse currently located in Washington with her husband, two children, and two dogs. Hayley has a Master's in Business Administration. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, and spending time relaxing with her family. Hayley has a passion for connecting with people and providing excellent service.

Haley is a military spouse and proud mom of three young girls living in Alabama. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and enjoys supporting the wonderful Recruiting Assistant team at Carework. Outside of work, you’ll find her staying active with fitness, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or spending quality time with her family.

Katie is a military spouse who has three children and two cats. She has a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is a former cosmetologist. In her free time, she enjoys watching her kids' sporting events, trying new crafts, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places with her family.

Haylee is a military spouse currently living in GA with her husband and 3 children. She's from the PNW and loves to travel as much as she can. She has a passion for data science and communication. She loves people and forming connections with everyone she meets. Carework has given her the opportunity to pursue her passion while moving every few years. 
Haylee enjoys working out, baking, and being outdoors with her kids as much as possible.

Kirby is originally from Houston, TX where she lives with her husband and their son Carson. She specializes in streamlining the recruitment process by creating individual plans unique to her client's needs. Additionally, she is adept at high-volume sourcing across multiple recruitment platforms. Kirby has an Associates's degree in Science and is currently completing a B.S. in Marketing. Previously, she worked in the hospitality industry for ten years and prides herself on the customer service aspect of recruiting. Kirby is a motivated team player with strong communication and organizational skills. She has a passion for geology and enjoys camping and spending her time outdoors.

​Julia is a military spouse originally from Germany and currently living in South Korea with her husband and two cats. She has spent much of her adult life moving and traveling, which has shaped her love for exploring new places and cultures. Julia enjoys hiking, traveling, and finding comfort in everyday routines wherever she calls home.

Jamie is an executive assistant at Carework

Britt Kase is an Army spouse currently stationed with her family in Hohenfels, Germany. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human and Child Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Leadership, from Virginia Tech, and brings a strong background in education to her role in Carework. Her experience in education provides a deep understanding of communication and individualized support—skills that shape her thoughtful, people-centered approach to caregiver recruitment and support.  She is also a proud mom of three energetic children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and baking, being outdoors, and traveling.

Dalee is a military spouse currently living in South Carolina with her husband and son. She holds a bachelor’s degree in German, Russian, and Foreign Language Education and is currently completing her Juris Master’s with the goal of attending law school. In her free time, Dalee enjoys working on her family’s farm, reading, writing, and cooking.

Tara is a married mom of four who stays busy traveling throughout the Southeast for soccer. She settled in Georgia after her husband retired from the Army. Originally from Massachusetts, she has spent her adult years in the South raising her children. She enjoys slower days at home as well as spending time at the beach by the ocean. Tara is an ASU graduate. #forksup!

Ratsamy is a mom of four, originally from Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, and a proud military spouse. She holds an Associate’s degree in Public Health and is currently completing her Bachelor’s in Health Administration. Outside of school and family life, she enjoys reading, drawing, and photography, and loves being creative while capturing meaningful everyday moments.

Taylor is currently based in Georgia, where she is a devoted mom to a beautiful daughter and a wife to a supportive husband. She has a strong passion for animals and volunteers at local shelters whenever possible. In her free time, she enjoys diving into books and cherishing moments of rest and reflection.

Alexis is a mom of four teenagers and has been happily married since 2009. As a military spouse, she and her family have had the opportunity to travel and live in various places, experiences that have shaped her adaptability and appreciation for new challenges.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a minor in Business Finance and is currently returning to school to pursue Health Administration. In her free time, Alexis enjoys flipping furniture and breathing new life into well-loved pieces. She is passionate about growth, both personally and professionally, and enjoys finding creative ways to make an impact.
